Custom Couple & Family Portrait from Photo

A custom family portrait or couple portrait, hand-painted in watercolour from your photo. Pets are welcome: a family portrait with your dog counts the dog as one of the faces.

Painted from your photo

Send a photo of the two of you, the whole family, or you with your pet, and I paint it in soft watercolour. It works as a wedding or anniversary gift, a present for parents or grandparents, or a way to keep a favourite family photo on the wall. Up to four people and pets in one portrait; for more, message me first.

• Painted by hand with professional-grade watercolours on premium watercolour paper. This is not a print or a filter.
• Painting takes about 3 to 7 days, depending on my current workload.
• Choose Digital file and you get a high-resolution (300 dpi) scan by email, ready to print at any size.
• Original paintings are packed flat in a sturdy card envelope with a cellophane sheet and ship from Canada.
• Every piece is painted by hand, so it will be close to your photo but not an exact copy. That's the charm of a real painting.
• Want a rough sketch to approve before I paint? Mention it when you send your photo.

How to order

1. Choose how many people and pets, and the size. Choose Digital file if you only want the file to print.
2. Send 2 to 3 clear photos. If everyone isn't in one photo, send separate photos and I'll combine them.
3. Tell me if you'd like headshots or full body, and any background you have in mind.

Add your photo when you order. If you can't upload it on this page, reply to your order confirmation email with it and I'll start from there.

As the artist I keep the copyright, and may share the finished piece in my portfolio. Tell me if you'd rather I didn't.
