Four commissions for a wedding, each painted in watercolour from what you send: your bouquet, your venue, your crest, or the two of you. They are not variations on one product — a bouquet painting and a monogram crest need different things from you and suit different moments, so it is worth reading what each one asks for before choosing.
What do I have to send you?
The bouquet painting and the couple portrait both need photographs, and the painting can only be as good as they are: daylight, eye level, two or three shots rather than one. The venue illustration works from exterior photos of the building. The crest needs no photograph at all, only your initials, date and, for the Love Story version, four or five things you want represented — which makes it the one you can commission before the wedding has happened.
When should I order relative to the day?
The crest is the early one, because couples use it on stationery and signage. The bouquet painting is necessarily after the fact, and the flowers only need to survive long enough to be photographed. The venue illustration and the couple portrait work in either direction, as a save-the-date or a first-anniversary gift.
What does each one cost?
The venue illustration is a digital PNG and PDF at about CA$67. The couple portrait starts around CA$65 as a digital file and runs to about CA$200 for a 12x18" (30.5 x 45.7 cm) original with four faces. Crests run about CA$93 to CA$203, and the bouquet painting, which is original-only with no digital option, about CA$138 to CA$234.
